Our Wee Library was designed and built by local artist Brodie McGruer and installed right by the community mailbox by carpenter Erik VanderDuim. The book collection is eclectic – fiction, non-fiction, biographies, children’s books; Giller Prize winners to popular best-sellers. As of this writing there is a New York Times crossword-puzzle book (do a few and then leave it for the next aficionado!) and a how-to on making your own flip-books.
The collection changes daily, so help yourself to a book or two, and feel free to leave a book you’ve enjoyed and want to share.

I have wanted to have one of these on my front lawn for a year, now it is installed, very cute, and full of great books. We are located at 839 6TH Ave West, around the corner from Hillcrest School. Children are my best “customers” and keep me hopping  maintaining a good supply. Come and visit or contact me about this delightful initiative.
